CsI(Na) Scintillator (CsI(Na) Scintillation Crystal)

Cesium Iodide doped with Sodium (CsI:Na) is a high-performance inorganic scintillation crystal widely used in radiation detection. Boasting a density of 4.51 g/cm³ and a light yield reaching 85% of NaI:Tl, it features a broad emission band peaking at 420 nm, perfectly matching the sensitivity of common photomultiplier tubes. With excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength and low hygroscopicity, it serves as a key component in medical imaging, high-energy physics experiments and space exploration equipment.

OST Photonics offers custom-supply of encapsulated CsI(Na) scintillators and integrated CsI(Na) scintillation detectors to meet specific client requirements.
