ScMgAlO4 Substrate
ScAlMgO4 (MgScAlO4 or SCAM) is a new substrate material for GaN and ZnO heteroepitaxy, it has the smallest lattice mismatch with GaN and ZnO. ScAlMgO4 crystal belongs to hexagonal system with lattice constant a=0.3246 nm, c=2.5195 nm, It has similar structure to wurtzite nitrite and zinc oxide.
