
SP101 Plastic Scintillator
SP101 plastic scintillators are blue light plastic scintillators which can be used to measure gamma-ray, X-ray, etc. They are relatively inexpensive compared to other scintillators and can be manufactured to very large sizes. SP101 can be made into different shapes, such as: plate, slice, block, bar, cylinder, ring, etc., they can also be customized according to the user’s requirements, and we can provide different reflective materials and encapsulation.
OST Photonics can also provide plastic scintillator detectors, such as bonding (coupling) the plastic scintillator with the light guide, photomultiplier tube, silicon photodiode, etc., and we can install the metal or non-metal shell upon requests. In addition, electronics are also available upon your request.
