BaF2 Substrate
Barium fluoride (BaF2) crystal belongs to a cubic crystal system, with good moisture resistance, a melting point of 1280 °C, and high temperature, the refractive index does not change much in a wide wavelength range and with a wide light transmission range. The highest transmittance can reach >90% in the wavelength range of 0.2μm to 10μm. BaF2 crystal has good optical and mechanical properties. These make BaF2 crystal widely used in infrared and ultraviolet windows and prism substrates.
OST Photonics offers high quality BaF2 substrates for researchers and industries. Crystal orientation, size, and thickness can be customized according to your requirements.
