KTaO3 Substrate

Potassium tantalate (KTaO3 or KT) single crystal has a stable cubic structure and can be used to make laser modulators, digital deflectors and semiconductor devices. Because the crystal has no phase change in the temperature range from absolute zero to its melting point (1645K), and its unit cell parameters match very well with yttrium-barium-copper-oxygen superconductors, and it is promising to be used as a substrate material for superconductor films.

OST Photonics offers high quality KTaO3 substrates for researchers and industries. Crystal orientation, size and thickness can be customized according to your requirements.
