
CeBr3 Scintillator (CeBr3 Scintillation Crystal)
CeBr₃ is a premium inorganic scintillator renowned for its outstanding radiation detection performance. It delivers high light yield, fast decay and excellent energy resolution at 662 keV, with zero intrinsic background radioactivity. Its emission peak at ~380 nm matches PMTs and SiPMs perfectly, making it ideal for gamma spectroscopy, time-of-flight measurement and portable radiation monitoring.
OST Photonics offers encapsulated CeBr₃ scintillators, high temperature encapsulated CeBr3 scintillators and custom-configured CeBr3 scintillation detectors to meet specific customer requirements. We also provide CeBr3 detector assemblies integrated with silicon photomultipliers (SiPM) upon request.

Fast decay time (17-20 ns), enabling excellent time resolution and stable operation under high count rates.
High light yield up to 60,000 photons/MeV, with energy resolution better than 4.5% at 662 keV.
Ultra-low intrinsic background, no natural radioactive isotopes, with standard background as low as 0.025 c/s/cc.
